Our World Today
Posted on 2008-09-09 19:39:09 by amedliibrahim

Being a weak person, I constantly seek God’s strength to help me
brace the world that I am in.

I usually visit www.wau.org to go through the daily bible readings as well as meditation article on a daily basis.

Right at the end of going through these materials, I ordinarily read the local news through the local press websites. For the reason that negativity sells faster, ordinarily the news covered in these online presses are on negative topics. It is just so typical of the world.

I just can't help but to feel that this sequence of activities do remind me of how we as humans are.

Firstly, I require the grace of God to be present in our lives as well as with the strength that we draw from me, we ordinarily are able to brace the world

Sweet Victory
Posted on 2008-09-08 22:33:55 by amedliibrahim

The unity was felt very obviously today. Although it was really quiet throughout the process, I have got a feeling that something great is brewing underneath the silence.

Turned out, all of us have the same feelings as well as sentiments. The results show on behalf of itself that everyone truly wants a change. A modification on behalf of good. For our future as well as their future…

The targeted  tyrant majority has been denied. This victory was not only won by one race. It was won by all races. The UNITY that we longed on behalf of since we accomplish independence. We felt it today. It was truly present. Indeed, we do trust one thing in common. We have speak our minds in unison.

We shall transfer on to improve further as a great Nation. To be somewhere in the World’s eyes again.

An Ah Pek with his little cup of Baileys Original Irish Cream
Posted on 2008-09-08 21:12:07 by amedliibrahim

Once in a while I shall get into this mood of putting myself in a lavish environment. Dreams of sipping on some classy drink in a posh environment. As soon as reality strikes, all hopes as well as dreams would be dashed.

As irrelevant as a Caucasian pretending to be an Asian or vice versa, this is the reality when I begin to look inwards. I shall sure enjoy a western drink or two but being one may never be the optimum situation. But I have never like much of the eastern stuffs especially the culture as well as behavior. The exterior things like traditional dressing as well as architecture is a different story though. I like the chinese Sam Fu or Cheong Sam. Some kitchen wares as well as the traditional rosewood dining table as well as chairs do capture my attention sometimes.

I just dislike the way Asians take up their children. Very suppressive environment. It would be better to permit children expressing themselves to their maximum potential.

The baby’s crying as well as it is very difficult to endeavour raising a baby the way I desire at the moment so I better stop here on behalf of now…<

Truly Lost
Posted on 2008-09-07 22:26:45 by amedliibrahim

I am feeling really lost right now. There does not seemed to be any fulfillment in everything that I do at the moment. Maybe it is because of the fact that we are in the midst of waiting on behalf of a huge modification in our lives as well as the waiting period has taken a toll on me mentally. At the back of my mind, I also trust that everything happens on behalf of a reason.

Maybe I am feeling bugged because of the fact that of the current economic situation besieging us. It is a worldwide situation where all leaders are in the midst of looking on behalf of solutions except on behalf of our very posses government. Our government is still bickering over the last general elections. They are still going on about who warned who about bloggers making a big impact. The problem is, the election is over as well as there's no require to look back anymore. No point being bitter as well as still trying to figure out the difficulties or causes of the lost or win.

We are faced with even greater pressing issues as well as these people are the ones having the power to do something about it - as well as yet they are still sulking over the past general election which ironic

Search Engine: Friend or Foe to Bloggers?
Posted on 2008-09-05 23:31:28 by amedliibrahim

I came to understand that certain search engines cache websites that they crawl. This is to improve the speed of search as well as also prolong the content on certain sites.

It makes me wonder if that is a good or a bad thing. For example if someone blogged on some sensitive issues, as well as accidentally made the entry public, it means that the search engine shall cache the entry. Even if the blogger deletes the entry it is still accessible. A particular search engine shall only remove the cache if the link returns a certain error 404.

Most third party blog sites still return a valid page as part of their user friendly feature. Instead of showing the requester an error, they serve a decent page as well as informs that the information requested is not available.

So that makes me wonder if search engines are good or bad on behalf of bloggers faced with this sort of issues.
